We are getting ready to start a new round of interviewing with the mothers and grandmothers who so generously gave of their time and knowledge in the first year of the project (2012). The research team has been busy developing interview and survey questions and working through logistics.
In fact, it has been so busy, it is easy to get caught up in the details and miss the big picture of our research – to better understand the challenges families confront, as well as the resources they have, to lead healthy lives. Now that we are close to finishing, I’m beginning to relish the next step: talking to and learning from families in Harnett, Lee, and Wake Counties.
We look forward to reconnecting with the families we met in 2012 and who so graciously opened their doors and homes to us. See you soon!
