• Roasted Cabbage Wedges

    Did you know that that cabbage may help lower your risk for certain types of cancer, including colorectal, breast, and lung cancer? Or that it is high in Vitamin C and fiber? At just 16 calories in a half-cup serving, why not try some today? Here is a simple yet delicious way to prepare this nutritious vegetable!

    Ingredients

    -1 medium green cabbage

    -Olive oil

    -Garlic powder (or a spice of your choice)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400.

    2. Cut cabbage into 8 wedges and lay on an aluminum foil covered baking sheet.

    3. Drizzle cabbage with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.

    4. Bake for 30 minutes.

    5. Enjoy!
