Voices into Action: The Families, Food, and Health Project is a study by NC State University and NC A&T University. We are interested in learning about how families shop for, prepare, and eat food. Voices into Action uses research and community partnerships to encourage and support projects and activities that impact food access and places to be active.
Voices into Action is conducting research with mothers and grandmothers in each community. We are interested in learning about how families shop for, prepare, and eat food. This research, along with the Community Food Assessments, will help inform the mini-grant projects and will be made available to the community.
We will listen to community voices through Community Food Assessments, which include research and workshops that will map local food resources and help us better understand community priorities regarding food access.
